As your General Contractor and during the construction phase of the project; we provide the following basic construction services:
Scope Definition
Mazcot's project manager will be familiar with the projects' complexities right from the initial stages of your project. Accordingly, he will plan a series of meetings with the consultant team and all the subcontractors. These meetings will serve as a discussion forum to overcome any complexity, review the project organization, and set forth the scope of work.
Scheduling and Monitoring
Mazcot will develop a comprehensive project schedule. It will identify all of the project's phases, material requirements, and activities assigned to each team member. As a result, progress will be monitored and managed to ensure that the "critical path" is always maintained.
Documentation
Mazcot maintains a current record of all related documentation both at our office and on site to refer to whenever required. Weekly construction progress meetings will focus on action items for each of the involved participants. These action items are tracked and managed by the Mazcot team to ensure their completion.
Quality Assurance
Mazcot utilizes computerized systems to set up shop drawings and submittals on time to ensure proper and on-time delivery of approved materials. We hold responsibility to coordinate the testing of all required materials to meet both municipal and specification requirements. Mazcot believes that quality control shall continue by matching expectations about quality levels with budget and scope during construction delivery.
Safety Program
Mazcot maintains safety measures as a top priority for all our employees and subcontractors. Therefore, we have successfully implemented various measures to improve jobsite safety in construction and ensure a well governed environment by regular follow up and assessment.
Commissioning and Closure
Mazcot will produce a detailed schedule of close-out activities. We develop our own punch list as trades complete their work before the end of the project. We will coordinate the testing of all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Operating manuals and catalogues will be collected and submitted in order to assist in the operation and maintenance process for all functional systems. At Mazcot we see commissioning as the process of ensuring that systems are designed, installed, functionally tested, and capable of being operated and maintained to perform in conformity with the design intent.
